We are seeking a Junior Frontend Developer with a strong focus on UI/UX to join our Moodle DevOps squad. You will be involved in every stage of our agile process — from conceptualisation and prototyping to development, testing, and deployment — ensuring platforms are both functional and visually engaging.
Responsibilities
- Work with the UI/UX team to bind user-facing elements with server-side Moodle logic
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize frontend performance
- Collaborate with the DevOps team as well as with Eummena's clients to analyse new features and arrive at an optimal solution for their implementation
- Debug and continuously improve code, collaborating with the devops team with git-based commits and merge reviews

Troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise
Must Have
- Proficiency in Javascript, JQuery, Ajax, Bootstrap, CSS, and SASS
- Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular)
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Perfect English, both verbal and written
- Fast learner, comfortable working in a highly agile and distributed team
- Self-motivated, with strong organizational skills and an inclination towards communication, inclusion, and visibility
Nice to have
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar disciplines
- Experience in basic Linux shell commands
- Experience with Moodle, including development of new plugins
- Experience as a PHP developer, preferably attested by contributions to Github repos
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles
