On November 1st and 2nd, the 17th European Conference on e-Learning was hosted in the University of Western Attica. Eummena was proud to participate with a joined publication, reflecting part of our work in the MENA region. The paper is titled “Digital Transformation of Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia: Deploying a country-wide Learning Management System for K-12 education“.
This paper reported on the Future Gate initiative, launched by the KSA MoE, operated by Tatweer Educational Technologies Company aiming to bring about a significant digital transformation for teaching and learning in the K-12 education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Our paper outlined the main parts of Future Gate while it also reported on the most important challenges that project implementation was faced with, reflecting on the ways in which they were handled.
We presented on November 1st, but apart from this, we had the opportunity to attend really interesting sessions, following the work of colleagues throughout Europe. Although it’s only a few days ago, we are already thinking about attending the 18th edition of ECEL, next year!
